Jade Jamacia Landry was born in Plaquemine, Louisiana at River West Hospital on January 3, 1995, to parents, Stephanie Landry and Cyril Simon. Jade was an outgoing, loveable, and respectful young lady. She was also very fancy and prissy. Jade would always greet with a smile, a hug, and a kiss. A true sweetheart. Everybody loved Jade. Her aura was always bright and glowing. The dimples on her face could warm any heart. She lived her life to the fullest and did exactly what she set her mind to. At the tender age of twelve, Jade accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior. She was baptized at Greater Israel Baptist Church by Reverend Reginald Dawson. Jade put GOD first in everything she did. She attended Donaldsonville Elementary, Lowery Middle, and became a cheerleader at Donaldsonville High School, made many friends, graduating class of 2013. Jade was called to her heavenly home on November 3, 2021, in Baton Rouge at Our Lady of the Lake hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories her fiancé, Dontrell Schonberg. From their loving 11-year union, two beautiful children were born: Miracle and Dontrell “D2” Schonberg, Jr. She leaves her mother: Stephanie Landry, Dad: Kerry “Huff” Anderson, biological father: Cyril Simon, 3 sisters: Vanity Landry, Mecalette (William) McDowell, and DaQuita (Byron) Johnson, 2 brothers: Johnathan Spriggs, and Rechard (Tasheba) Lewis, Mother In Law: Melissa Schonberg, Sister In Law: Keondra Schonberg, God Sister: Taylor Landry, God Brother: Melvin “Tank” Landry, God Child: Kailey Broussard, 1 Niece: Nala McDowell, 1 Nephew: William McDowell Jr., Maternal Grandfather: Joseph Landry Jr., Paternal Grandmother: Cleo Simon, aunts: Rosalyn (Lawrence) Johnson and Ursula Landry, uncles: Joseph (Jessica) Landry III, Troy (Keela) Landry, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jade was preceded in death by her maternal Grandmother: Jo Ann Bell-Landry, uncle: Furnell Landry, maternal Great-Grandmother: Adeline Fleming-Landry, Niece: Niagha McDowell, paternal Grandfather: Wilfred D. Simon.
