<p>Claudetta Mae Swope Tollman, born November 23, 1936, to Fay Arlene Swope &amp; Genevieve Thora (VanBlarcum) Swope of Whitman, Wyoming, left us here on Earth and moved on to her next journey November 6, 2021. Claudetta fought a valiant fight against leukemia, pneumonia, and Covid-19 before deciding to go home to her husband and family in Heaven.</p> <p>Claudetta was raised on the family homestead at Indian Creek Community and surrounding areas of Lusk, WY while her father Fay cowboyed and ranch-handed, later taking over the family homestead at Indian Creek and Whitman on Hat Creek Road where she went to school in a one room schoolhouse.</p> <p>Claudetta met Richard Eugene Tollman and they were later married at the First Baptist Church of Lusk on June 2nd of 1952.</p> <p>Claudetta was a loving Mother and housewife who traveled with her Cowboy, Trucker husband to Scottsbluff, Nebraska where he worked for Ringsby and DC Trucking later moving to Derby, Colorado in 1959 and on to Westminster, Colorado where they built a home. &nbsp;Claudetta and Richard moved their family back to the Indian Creek ranch in March of 1963, where she lived out the rest of her life.&nbsp; During that time she drove the Hat Creek &ldquo;feeder&rdquo; bus for over 30 years.&nbsp; Claudetta loved summer visits by her many grandchildren where she tirelessly watched over them with joy. &nbsp;She was a member of the Niobrara County Homemakers at Indian Creek for 58 years and was an avid Sunday school attendant of Delbert Dick&rsquo;s ministry. &nbsp;She loved gardening and sewing, crafting and crocheting and made beautiful Afghans, tablecloths and doilies for all the family.</p> <p>Claudetta was preceded in death by her parents Fay Arlene and Genevieve Thora Swope, husband Richard Eugene Tollman, Sister June Arlene Widick, Grandson Andrew Eugene Tollman, and most recently her sister Dolores Rose Mitchell.</p> <p>Claudetta is survived by Sister Yvonne Jensen of Lusk; her children Rex Tollman (Julie) of Lusk, Robyn Jefcoat of Lusk, Rhonda Tollman of Lusk, and Renae Tollman Jones (Jack) of Crawford, &nbsp;and grandchildren Chris Ellingson, Aaron Tollman, Richard Cashon, Trisha Thayer, Robert Cashon, Jessie Betschart, Brent Rathburn, Bryan Rathburn, and Laurie Shaffer; and 25 great grandchildren; and one acquired sister, Jackie Powell &amp; many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.</p> <p>Memorials can be designated to In Faith Camp Grace (Claudetta&rsquo;s favorite charity) &amp; mailed to Rex Tollman 737 Indian Creek Rd, Lusk WY 82225.</p> <p>The Family would like to Thank Pete Pier Funeral Home and David Dick for their services.</p> <p><strong><em>Pier Funeral Home would like to advise you that the memorial tree program does not plant a tree in this area, and does not inform the family of your purchase.</em></strong></p>
