Memorial Mass for Brent Austin of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, November 13, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Kunnumpuran officiating.

Brent Austin, age 60, passed away at his home in Simmesport on Monday, November 8th, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kim Austin of Simmesport; daughters, Tiffany (Jamie) Veade of Plaucheville, Kandace (Kirk) Landry of Simmesport, and Brittany (Kevin) Sweeney of Simmesport; brothers, Clint Joseph Austin (Lisa), Wayne Paul Austin, both of Simmesport, and Charles Joseph Austin, Jr (Sherri) of Mansura. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashton Veade, Kollin Landry, Rylee Sweeney, Kirk Landry, Jr., Kammie Landry, and Isabella Sweeney.                                         

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, Sr. and Sandra Austin.          

Pallbearer will be Ashton Veade; crossbearer will be, Kollin Landry with Rylee Sweeney and Isabella Sweeney at his side.                                                                      

Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Saturday, November 13, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
