Glenna "Beth" (Farmer) Howard, of Ratliff City, departed this life at her residence on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 5 days. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ratliff City Cemetery in Ratliff City with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Beth was born on April 2, 1956 in Alamogordo, NM to the late Mr. Robert W. Farmer and Mrs. Patricia (Johns) Farmer.
She had grown up in New Mexico graduating from Albuquerque High School. Beth then went into modeling and cosmetology for a while. Beth worked in many different fields from insurance companies to real estate and also as a florist. She had a way to make things look beautiful. Beth moved to Ratliff City in 2000 to help her father with Farmers Water Company. She would later marry Mr. Larry Howard on January 2, 2011 in Ratliff City. Together they made their home in Ratliff City. Beth was a classic car enthusiast and loved going to car shows. She was a member of the Ft. Worth Model A Club, Sooner Model A Car Club in OKC, and the National Desoto Car Club. She and Larry enjoyed traveling to car shows or to buy a classic car as far away as Canada. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ratliff City.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patricia Farmer.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Howard of the home; daughters, Amanda Howard of Port Richey, FL, and Sarah Stephens and her husband Kevin of Rio Vista, TX; grandsons, Levi Stephens and Riley Stephens; many other relatives and a host of friends.
