Kathleen Joy Cassell
<p><strong>Kathleen Joy Cassel</strong>l, 93, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born October 12, 1928 to Elmer Hagstrand and Mildred Pihl Hagstrand in Lindsborg, Kansas. Kathleen graduated from Marymount College in 1950.</p> <p>In 1951 she married John Humbargar; they had six children: daughters Linda Draper, Connie Lyon, Teri Humbargar, and Jackie Sharp (all of Salina) and sons Michael John Humbargar (Hays) and Patrick James Humbargar (deceased.)</p> <p>Kathleen married Joe Cassell in 1975 and worked until retirement at Waddles Heating and Cooling. Kathleen and Joe shared stepdaughters Joann and Vickie and their extended families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Patrick James, husband Joe Cassell, and two sisters.<br /> <br /> Kathleen is survived by the children listed as well as five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three siblings.<br /> <br /> Cremation was chosen. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials in honor of Mike Humbargar may be made to DSNWK (Developmental Services Northwest Kansas, Hays, KS) and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary.</p>October 12, 1928 - November 6, 202110/12/192811/06/2021
