Brian Keith Kendrick was born October 10, 1956, to Robert Kendrick, Sr. and Betty Kendrick in Toledo, Ohio. On November 6, 2021, Brian went home to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Kendrick, Sr., grandmother; Letha Dix, grandfather; John Lewis Kendrick, nephew; Justin Kendrick.

Brian attended St Ann’s elementary and was a graduate of St Francis de Sales High School. He attended Bowling Green State University. Brian became a certified Electrician /Contractor and worked for IBEW Local 18 for 26 years.

An avid chess player, Brian was passionate about teaching kids the patients and moves of chess. His love and passion for chess was one of his greatest enjoyments of his life. Brian and his close friends would have a standing appointment to enjoy their skillful art of the game. His skill level and zeal for chess allowed him to play against others all over the world on his computer.

Brian’s other passion was his love of flying. Brian was a pilot and he enjoyed flying for over 20 years. He was a dedicated member of Aviation Clubs in Michigan and California.

Brian was a faithful member of St. Matin de Porres Church, where he enjoyed attending with his family, especially his grandmother Letha. His bond with his grandmother was special, he often took her to mass and always went out to eat together afterwards. This bond continued even after his health prevent him from attending.

Brian leaves his love and memories with his daughter Katrina Kendricks, mother; Betty Kendrick, Brother Robert Kendrick, Jr., sisters; Robin Kendrick, Cynthia (Fred) McClendon, grandchildren; Victoria, Camille and Sadiq and a host of nephew, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
