<p>Reford &quot;R.V.&quot; Watkins, age 85, of Holly Creek, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Broken Bow Health And Rehab in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He was born on Thursday, June 18, 1936 to Earl N. and Carrie Farmer Watkins in Boswell, Oklahoma.</p> <p>R.V. married the love of his life, Lois &quot;Faye&quot; Johnson on April 5, 1959 in Idabel, Oklahoma. The couple then moved to Dallas,Texas for the next 13 years where they began raising their family. In 1972 they moved back to Broken Bow, Oklahoma where he worked for 27 years at the plywood mill in Wright City, Oklahoma until his retirement in 1999. R.V. loved to raise gardens; love to sing and be his own handyman; fixing most things himself. R.V. loved his family, his God, his Church and his pastor, Terry Bradley and Sister Kim Bradley. R.V. was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.</p> <p>R.V. was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Carrie Watkins; his son, Dennis Watkins; six brothers, Ebert Watkins, Glynn Watkins, Curtis Watkins, Austin Watkins, A.C. Watkins and Billie Joe Watkins and six sisters, Erma Harvey, Mildredge Peacock, Idell Hallman, Gladys Eubanks, Myrl York and Geraldine Hannabas.</p> <p>R.V. is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois &quot;Faye&quot; Watkins of Holly Creek, Oklahoma; his daughter, Glynis Watkins Mailand and husband, Glenn of Holly Creek, Oklahoma; as he always said, &quot;his favorite daughter in law&quot;, Tammy Watkins of Oak Hill, Oklahoma; one sister, Ruth Shimek of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Taylor Metcalf and wife, Ashley, Christan Metcalf, Callie Crittenden and Seth Watkins and wife, Cristina; three great grandchildren, Ellie Metcalf, Lakelyn May, and Lylah Metcalf; many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Broken Bow First Assembly of God in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Pastor Terry Bradley and Sister Kim Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 4-6 P.M. at Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Reford "R.V." Watkins, age 85, of Holly Creek, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Broken Bow Health And Rehab in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He was born on Thursday, June 18, 1936 to Earl N. and Carrie Farmer Watkins in Boswell, Oklahoma.

R.V. married the love of his life, Lois "Faye" Johnson on April 5, 1959 in Idabel, Oklahoma. The couple then moved to Dallas,Texas for the next 13 years where they began raising their family. In 1972 they moved back to Broken Bow, Oklahoma where he worked for 27 years at the plywood mill in Wright City, Oklahoma until his retirement in 1999. R.V. loved to raise gardens; love to sing and be his own handyman; fixing most things himself. R.V. loved his family, his God, his Church and his pastor, Terry Bradley and Sister Kim Bradley. R.V. was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Broken Bow First Assembly of God in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Pastor Terry Bradley and Sister Kim Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 4-6 P.M. at Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Arrangements are entrusted to Brumley Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
