Easton - Carol Ann Cyr, 76, died November 6, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Health Network-Muhlenberg. She was born June 4, 1945, to Stanley Jensen and Emma (Kahrs) Jensen in Bound Brook, NJ. Carol moved with her family to Garden City South, Long Island, NY in 1949. Carol graduated from H. Frank Carey High School class of 1963 and moved with her family to Scotch Plains, NJ in 1963. Carol completed secretarial training at Berkely School in East Orange, NJ. Carol’s employment included work at Lionel Trains and Federal Pacific Electric Company. Carol was employed by the North Plainfield, NJ, Board of Education for 27 years, first as a secretary at the Board of Education and then as a secretary to several principals at North Plainfield High School. Carol has two sons, Kenneth Schorr, Jr. and Glenn Schorr by her first marriage. Her second marriage was to Rev. James Cyr in 1989. She was active in her sons’ schools as they grew up. Carol loved making crafts, beautifying everything she touched, and spoiling niece and nephew, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Rev. James Cyr, her brother, Stanley Jensen, her sons, Kenneth and Glenn, her grandson, Justin Schorr, her granddaughter, Samantha Bregenzer, and her great-grandchildren, Mason and Jayden Bregenzer. A service of remembrance will be held at 3pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Roseberry St., Phillipsburg, NJ.
