Davenport, VA – Derwood Kyle Presley, age 68 of Helen Henderson Highway passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Clinch Valley Medical Center Hospital, Richlands, VA. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Burl and Fontelle Lois Presley. He was previously employed as a custodian and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sisters, Donna Presley of Davenport, VA, Karen (Al) Gayoso of Loveland, OH, and Sheryl (John) Sweat of Many, LA; nephews. John Bruning, Michael Bruning, Joshua Sweat, Shane MacDonald, and Eric MacDonald; great nieces and nephews, Isaih MacDonald, John Michael Sweat, Taylor MacDonald, Brooke MacDonald, Alexandria Sweat and Aubrey Rose Sweat. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Haysi Funeral Home with Carl Burmeier officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, VA.
