Istvan S. Oszfolk, 87, of Davenport passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his residence. 

          Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be no services at this time.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

          Istvan was born on October 21, 1934 in Budapest, Hungary.  On June 28, 1968 he married Connie Smith in Davenport, Iowa.  Istvan worked as a grain inspector at Robin Hood Flour until 1975, and later worked various manufacturing jobs until his retirement.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

          Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Connie Oszfolk of Davenport, his children, Baron (Tina) Oszfolk of Davenport, Yovanka Rupert of Davenport, Shawn (Cavita) Oszfolk of Prophetstown, Illinois; six grandchildren, Kyle, Dylan, Miranda, McKinzi, Iszabel, and Wyatt; and five great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Blaire, Charlotte, Kavon, and Kai.

          In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
