Jason (Jay) T. D’Angelo, 16, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in New Brunswick with his loving parents at his side. Jason was born in New Brunswick and lived in Helmetta for his whole life. Jay attended Spotswood Schools and was a junior. Jason enjoyed everything Hockey along with other sports, he recently was involved in fantasy league football and of course gaming. He collected Hot Wheels cars and had a great collection of action figures well known to the family as his “guys”. He enjoyed racing his R/C cars and in the midst of that fun, loved to be around friends and family. Jay enjoyed a good coffee and just to be the chill person that he was, truly an “old soul”. Jason is survived by his dear parents, Thomas and Lauren D’Angelo of Helmetta, his sister Mya D’Angelo, and his brother Max D’Angelo. He will also be sadly missed by his grandparents, Tony & Brenda D’Angelo of Staten Island and Mike & Penny Davis of Florida. He also leaves behind his Aunts and Uncles, Anthony & Debbie D’Angelo of Monroe Twp., Rob & Sabrina LoPorcaro of Staten Island, and Craig & Yupa Sanne of Florida, along with many cousins, extended family, and friends. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., 08831, on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:00pm-4:00pm and again from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 8:00pm at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow under the care of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc.
