Cecilia Fay Brown Obituary

Cecilia Fay Brown, age 66, of Redfield, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was a daughter of the late Cecil James Edward Brown and Polly Bell Ables Brown.

Cecilia is survived four brothers, James Henry Brown and wife Janice, Roy Edward Brown and wife Shirley, all of Little Rock, Cecil Junior “C.J.” and wife Sandi and Jimmy Dean Brown and wife Teresa all of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Lena Bell Rhoads of Redfield; one brother-in-law, Walter Wilson of Woodson; along with nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Ann Wilson and Joyce Ann Brown.

Cecilia was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Redfield Undenominational Church. With the voice of an angel, she sang in the choir and loved worshipping our Lord and Savior. She dearly loved her church family.

She loved doing arts and crafts with plastic canvas, but her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family. Huge family meals, playing games, singing together, and always planning the next gathering were also her loves.

With her ever-present servant’s heart, she was always placing others before herself.

Cecilia’s love for and camaraderie with the children was so precious and special. She would feel just as comfortable sitting on the floor and playing with them as she did conversing with the adults.

Her funeral service will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel with Rev. Jackie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
