Janet Mainwaring Pascale, 88, of Hattiesburg passed away on November 5, 2021 at the Veteran Affairs Home in Collins. Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel at 1:30 P.M. with inurnment in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. She joined the United States Air Force and served honorably during the Korean War. During her service she met and married Mr. Tony Pascale, her one love of over 60 years. Over the next 25 years she worked as a volunteer for innumerable charities and social organizations while raising her two children. Mrs. Pascale enjoyed cooking and gardening and shared these with her children. She also spent 25 years running Pascale’s Art Gallery, and with Mr. Pascale spent their last years together traveling North America and Europe. Mrs. Pascale was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was Queen Elk XX of the Hattiesburg Krewe of Elks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Pascale; ten brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Garrard and Amanda Garrard. She is survived by her daughter, Gemia Pascale Asalde (Francisco); her son, Richard Pascale (Becky); three grandchildren, David Pascale, Joseph Pascale (Amber), and Monica Howard (Jason); sixteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, November, 9, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.
