DeCaire, Edith (Edie) Taylor "Petie" – of Birch Run, age 59, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at her home. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a future designation. Edie was born April 12, 1962, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Charles and Barbara (Major) Taylor. She graduated from Birch Run High School in 1980. Edie married Alan DeCaire on May 6, 1998. She was employed by Corning Ware for more than 31 years. She was a lover of life and everyone in it. Edie enjoyed being with her friends and family – especially if it was together camping, sitting around a bonfire, and singing and laughing. Edie would never pass up a casino trip even if it meant a 3-hour drive. Christmas was her favorite time of the year because she spent it with her family. Her pride and joy were her daughters and she was excited to see where life would take them. Surviving is Husband, Alan F. DeCaire; 2 daughters: Melissa DeCaire, and Lesleigh (Shane) DeCaire; Mother, Barbara (Major) Taylor; Brothers: Charles Taylor and Wayne (Wendy) Taylor; In laws: Steve (Pam) DeCaire, Linda DeCaire, Debbie (Dave) Delgado, Jeanette Smith, Patty (Kevin) Novak, Dan DeCaire, David DeCaire; Forever friend, Darlene Hare; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Edie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Taylor, brother, David Taylor, and sister-in-law, Shari Taylor.
