Janet K. Epperson, 75, of Center, Missouri, passed away at 4:02 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Monroe Manor in Paris, Missouri. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, Missouri. Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate. Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Center Cemetery in Center, Missouri. Friends and Family are invited to a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021, at the funeral home. Janet was born March 3, 1946, in Hannibal, Missouri to George Billings and Leona M. Howard Billings. Janet was married to Dennis C. Epperson on August 8, 1964. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2004. Survivors include her children, Karla Epperson Clark (Matthew) of New London, Missouri, Kelly Epperson of Paris, Missouri and Jacinda Epperson of Perry, Missouri; 1 sister, Ann Foutes of Hannibal, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Kayla (Chris), Jacob, Joshua, Jamie, Hanna (Ethan), Zachary, Josie (Uriel), Zoeie, Zane and Andrew; 7 great grandchildren, Amelia, Lilly, Alijah, Joshie, Rylan, Annamarie and Kayde; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, JR Epperson; and 9 siblings. Janet was a proud homemaker, farmer's wife and Christian, by faith. She had a great sense of witty humor, mixed with a side of orneriness. Janet was a wonderful cook, with her fried pork chops, chicken, macaroni and sweet corn being family favorites. In her spare time, Janet enjoyed reading Danielle Steele romance novels and watching her favorite shows, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Survivor and anything regarding murder mysteries. Janet collected angels and loved fragrant lilacs. Mostly, Janet cherished the time she was able to spend with her family. She will be missed forever by those she held dear. Pallbearers will be Jacob Morris, Joshua Morris, Jamie Morris, Zachary Epperson, Zane Epperson, Ethan Hudelson, Chris Northcutt and Andrew Borders. Honorary pallbearers will be Janet's great grandchildren.
