It is with great sadness that we announce that after a short battle with cancer, Kay Goodell Ingalls, 76, of Jamestown, New York, has fallen asleep until the time when Jesus returns to awaken her. Kay was born in Olean, New York, on June 20, 1945 to Leon and Gertrude Goodell. She has two sisters, Helyn May of Berrien Springs, Michigan, and Gayle McGrath of Greenville, Pennsylvania. Kay worked in the real estate industry for many years. She owned and operated Ingalls Real Estate in Syracuse, New York, and Ingalls Appraisal Service in Erie, Pennsylvania. She retired in Findley Lake, New York. Kay is survived by her two sons: Duane Ingalls (wife Kim Hoitink) and Kevin Ingalls (wife Laura Alysworth); her grandchildren, Seth, Zachariah (wife Paola), Jacqueline (husband Jeremy), Jenelle (husband Zach), Katie Jo (husband Ravi), Kory (significant other Carena), Lillian, and Lukas; one great grandson, Kaydynn; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Kay was predeceased by her parents and loving husband of 47 years, Jack Ingalls. Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi’s Hubert Funeral Home. Kay was a member of the Jamestown Seventh Day Adventist Church. A memorial service will be held and details announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, supportive donations or wishes may be sent in Kay’s grateful memory to Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 West Fairmont Ave, Lakewood New York, 14750, who provided exceptional care for Kay.
