Murray Ruggiero of Branford passed away on Friday November 5, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Joann Spiduro of Branford. He was the grandfather of Murray Ruggiero III and Jean Ruggiero. He is also survived by his sister Ann Gydus (Tom) of West Haven, his nieces Elizabeth Gagliardi (John), and Jenny Gydus, and his great-nephew Benjamin. He was predeceased by his first wife Joanne Ruggiero and his son, Murray Ruggiero Jr. Murray was born in New Haven on January 25, 1941. He worked for the Olin Corporation for many years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Burial of his urn will follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Friends may call prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00.
