Arthur Richard McDonald, Jr. died November 3, 2021 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He was 76.
Art was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 25, 1945 a son to the late Gloria (Nelson) and Arthur Richard McDonald, Sr. He lived in Stirling, NJ since 1992 moving to Meyersville, NJ.
He served in the United States Navy from 1963 - 1966 as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate.
Art was currently employed in Industrial Metal Sales at Metal Associates in Pompton Plains ,NJ for many years.
He was a member of the Rampant Lion Pipe and Drum Band and was the Drum Major. He had a passion for music. He loved his Rutgers Football and as a Navy man he loved the Air shows and antique aviation and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was pre-deceased by his 2 brothers Henry Kluizenaar and Michael McDonald.
Art is survived by his wife Rosemary Agrista of 32 years, a Nephew Donald Kluizenaar and niece Arlene Kluizenar, and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 - 3 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling.
