Ludwig "Lou" Bruckmoser Obituary

Ludwig "Lou" Bruckmoser was called home to the Lord on November 1, 2021 at the age of 82. His life was well lived and he was well loved. Lou was born in Mertingen (Bavaria) Germany, and joined the Navy at the age of 17 to come to the United States and serve our country. During that time he met his beautiful bride and wife of 58 years, Annie, and they were later married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1961, Lou began his lifetime career at Briggs and Stratton where he managed paint lines. During that time he also became a volunteer for the Butler Fire Department ensuring that his community was safe and protected. He retired after 30 years from Briggs and Stratton and enjoyed 30 years of retirement where he spent his time with family, fishing, hunting, boating, volunteering at the American Legion, enjoying his dartball team and spending time with friends. Lou is survived by his son: Brian (Jill) Bruckmoser; daughter: Karen Bruckmoser; grandsons: Mitchell and Joshua Bruckmoser; great grandsons: Landon and Cameron Bruckmoser; great granddaughter: Molly Bruckmoser. He was preceded in death by his wife: Annie Bruckmoser. All are welcome to attend the funeral service to be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1701 Superior Street, Three Lakes, WI. Visitation at 10 a.m. Funeral service at 11 a.m. with Father Rich officiating. Burial will follow at Three Lakes Cemetery.
