Norman Campbell Hood Obituary

Norman, 86, passed away in Shreveport LA on November 4, 2021. A Celebration of Life service for Norman will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Bellaire Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Randy Harper. Norman was born in Morehouse MO and grew up on a farm. As a young adult, Norman decided to defend his country in the Army for 20 years. During this time, he served in Vietnam during the time that Agent Orange was being used. After his retirement, he became a broker for James M Brown Real Estate in Bossier. On February 21, 2009 he married his wife Esther R Hood. Preceding Norman in death is his daughter, Karen Ladawn Hood; parents Willis Grant Hood and Olive Campbell Hood; sisters Shirley Chumbley, and Joanne Jones; brothers Bob Hood, Edward Sherwood Hood, and Grant Hood. He is survived by his wife, Esther; sister, Jimee Mocdia; and step-daughter, Gayla Fowler and husband Bob, their children, Andrew and wife Brooke Fowler and many other family members and friends. Norman proudly served his country and met many people. He will be greatly missed.
