<p>Reavis Morrisette Byrd Dennison age 81, a native of Pascagoula and longtime resident of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on November 3, 2021 in Ocean Springs. She was a graduate of Pascagoula High School, and soon met and fell in love with her now husband of over 57 years, Denny.&nbsp; She then became a devoted,&nbsp;loving military wife, and a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. Reavis enjoyed cooking and gardening, spending time with friends, but most of all, she enjoyed her family time. She always said, &ldquo;Always look up at the stars, NOT down at your feet&rdquo;.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her father, General Morrisette Byrd; her mother, Annie Lou Byrd; and her daughter, Kimberly Denise Ruple.</p> <p>Reavis is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Hursel A. &ldquo;Denny&rdquo; Dennison, Jr.; her daughter, Val Dennison Marcy; her son in law, Charles W. Ruple, Jr.; her four grandchildren, Michael Steven Ruple and wife Charlene Elaine, Jessica Christine Ruple (Chad Rudenza), Andrew Taylor Kestner, and Sydney Elizabeth Kestner (Kasey Aaron Meares); and her three great grandchildren whom she adored, Raegan Elizabeth Ruple, Kimberly Grace Ruple and Parker Aaron Meares; numerous relatives and dear friends.</p> <p>A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 with a visitation from 2:30 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. service at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County.
