Nina Marie Cumbest
<p>Nina Marie Cumbest was an amazing soul born on Dec 14, 1993 and passed away on Nov 2, 2021.</p><p>She was an awesome mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Her smile and laughter was contagious and infected all those around her. Her sister made a statement that we should all remember, "life threw Nina so many curve balls, but somehow she still managed to spread positivity and be a light in people’s lives even when she didn’t have that light herself."</p><p><br></p><p>Nina is survived by her daughter Khloe Waldrep, her father and mother, Billy and Paige Cumbest; her brothers, Tyler (Dara) Cumbest, Justin (Sunny) Cumbest; her sister, Sarah (Cade) Minor, Grandparents Henry and Donna Gagne (Maine), Ken and Joyce Burton (Florida); many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & many friends to carry on her memory. Also three special people in her life, Michele Lepine (her second mom), Paige Bartlett, & Ashley White.</p><p><br></p><p>Nina is preceded in death by her son, Kegan Preston Cumbest; her maternal grandmother, Sylvia Burton; her paternal grandfather, Billy Ray Cumbest Sr.; her best friend, Joel Diamond, and numerous other family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>A special thanks to Kare-In’s Hospice nurse, Jaythan and aide Cammie for the special care they gave her while home with us. A special thanks to Ocean Springs Hospital nurses and aides on 2W-Y’all are AMAZING, thank you for everything!! Also a special thanks to Southern Mississippi Funeral Services for their care and compassion during this difficult time.</p><p><br></p><p>I will love you to the moon and back always and forever my beautiful Angel, Love, Mom</p><p><br></p><p>A visitation for Nina will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services Chapel, 6631 Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS.
