Charles Richard Boyles Jr., 62, of Newville, PA, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021, at his residence. He was born on April 29, 1959, in Carlisle, to the late Charles Richard and Margie (Myers) Boyles Sr.

Charles worked for the Newville Ribbon Mill, Central Signs, and most recently Burger King. His memberships include, the Newville VFW, Post 607 and American Legion, Post 421. Charles was an active volunteer firefighter for station 47 Fire Dept. and Union Fire Co., Carlisle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Charlotte Annette (Gettle) Boyles of Newville; children, Dakota Boyles of Newville, and Jessica Boyles of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Chehon, Reedan, and Payzlyn; stepchild, Anthony Heffner; and siblings, Paul Boyles, and Linda Shughart both of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 12:30 PM in the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Carlisle, PA, 17015 with Rev. William E. Pipp and Rev. Steve Salisbury officiating. A viewing will be held at 11:00 AM until the time of service and Burial will be held in Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs.
