Granville Blaine Turner, 74, died at Norman Regional Hospital, on October 26, 2021. He was born February 3, 1947 in Saint Louis Missouri, the son of Richard and Corean (Ingram) Turner.

Granville attended elementary school in Springfield Illinois and enrolled in Holdenville Public Schools as an eighth grader in 1960 when his Father began to Pastor the Harvest Time Tabernacle. Granville graduated from Holdenville High School in 1965 where he excelled in athletics. Granville was a starter on the Wolverines' 1964 State Championship Football team and the 1965 State Championship baseball team. Granville was also a main player on the 1964-65 Holdenville High School basketball team that advanced to the semifinals at the state tournament.

After graduating from Holdenville High School in 1965, Granville enrolled at Eastern Oklahoma State College and played football and baseball. Granville opted to serve his country after leaving Eastern and became a member of the United States Air Force. Granville was later employed at Tinker Air Force Base and finished his work career as an employee of Moore Public Schools.

Granville was proceeded in death by his parents, Richard Turner and Corean ( Ingram) Turner. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Ross and Tammy Valley and his son Ricky Turner and wife Annja. Granville is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his four brothers, Jim Turner, Tom Turner, Jack Turner and John Turner.

Family and friends visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home.

There will be a memorial service at the Harvest Time Tabernacle on November 18, at 2 O'clock.
