Funeral Mass for Amie Augustine of Mansura will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Amie Augustine, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Valley View Nursing Home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Bazert, Calvin Augustine, Lydia Washington, Kennie Augustine, & Lionel Augustine; siblings, Sadie McKenzie, Doris Maten, Isaac Maten, and Louis Maten.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Stephen Augustine and Vaughn Augustine; husband, Kirby Augustine; parents, Leroy & Deanna Maten; grandson, Jerome Augustine; siblings, Dorothy Lacy, Edna Maten, Ora Lee Maten, Jerry Maten, Annette Alexander, Michael Maten, and Henry Lee Maten.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 9:45am on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
