Katherine Darlene Douglas, 69 of Chesapeake went home to be with Jesus on November 2, 2021 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. She retired from Kanawha County Schools after 37 years of service at Chesapeake Elementary and was a loving wife, mother and sister. She was a 1969 graduate of East Bank High School. She was preceded in death by Parents: William “Cudgey” and Ellen Payne Green. Surviving Are: Her loving Husband of 50 years: Robert Douglas of Chesapeake, Devoted Son: Brian Douglas of Chesapeake, Her wonderful and caring siblings: Shirley Payne and Connie Harless both of Chesapeake, Roger (Nina) Green of St. Albans and Many Friends. Funeral will be Noon Monday November 8, 2021 in the Chapel at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow with Rev. Tom Holstein officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
