<p>Terry Paul Henderson, “Pop Tee”, a resident of Zachary, LA, died on Monday, November 1, 2021. He is survived by one daughter, Terri Lynn Wells and her husband Keith; two sons: Scott Henderson and his wife Allison Craft; and Chris Henderson and his wife Kelly; two sisters: Martha Travasos and husband James; and Jeanette Henderson; two brothers: Brent Henderson and wife Sandra; and Michael Henderson; seven grandchildren: Tim Wells, Amy Hays, Connie Wells, Ashlea Maranto, Brett Henderson, Lauren Henderson, and Zachary Henderson; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Morel Henderson. Terry was a lifelong insurance professional, earning the respect of his coworkers and clients. After retirement, he enjoyed driving a school bus in Zachary and interacting with the families he met in that job. Many in the Baton Rouge area knew him as “Coach Terry” because he coached little league football for many years, touching the lives of several young people in the community. He was an avid LSU Fan, and taught his grandchildren “Geaux Tigers” before they could speak. He was a longtime member of the Zachary United Methodist Church, where he served in many roles, including as a Lay Speaker delivering messages to Oakwood Village in Zachary. </p>
