<p>Bula Mae Kerzee, of Mexia, passed away on November 1, 2021 in Waco, Texas at the age of 87.&nbsp; Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery.&nbsp; Pallbearers will be Brett Beene, Chet Beene, Kent Kendall, and Richard Kerzee.</p> <p>Visitation with the family will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.</p> <p>Bula was born March 23, 1934 in Eureka, Texas to Herman Lee and Katie Mae (Hager) Farmer.&nbsp; She married Richard Bond Kerzee in 1956, a marriage that lasted 65 wonderful years.&nbsp; They moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, where Richard served his tour of duty with the Army.&nbsp; Years later, after he retired from Cudd Oil Company, they made their home in Mexia.</p> <p>Bula was a loving wife and a devoted supporter of Richard in all his working positions and business endeavors. &nbsp;She, also, enjoyed taking care of things at home, gardening, and, especially, doing what she did so well&hellip;cook; she was a wonderful cook.&nbsp; Bula was a collector of &ldquo;All God&rsquo;s Children&rdquo; ornaments, as well as an animal lover.&nbsp; She loved her dogs and cats.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Katie Farmer; husband, Richard Kerzee; sisters, Clara Williams, Jonell Toms, Jimmie Ruth Slaughter, Maxine Stringer; and brother, Laught Farmer.</p> <p>Bula is survived by her sister, Jerri &ldquo;Red&rdquo; Jackson of Mexia, sister-in-law, Martha Beene of Mexia; brother-in-law, Maurice Kerzee of Bracketville, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.</p> <p>Bula&rsquo;s family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to her dedicated caregivers, Mae, Sandra, Patsy, and Cristina. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Bula Mae Kerzee, of Mexia, passed away on November 1, 2021 in Waco, Texas at the age of 87.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Rev.
