Charles Edward "Chuckie" Hendershot Obituary

Charles Edward “Chuckie” Hendershot, 77 of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1944, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Denzel C. and Laura V. (Daugherty) Hendershot. He is also preceded in death by his stepson, Jason Little; two brothers, Clarence and James Hendershot; and a sister, Doris Wade. Chuckie proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion. Chuckie retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he was a crane operator. Chuckie is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Debora (Sarap) Hendershot at home; a son, Luke Hendershot; a daughter in law, Anna Mastrantoni of Weirton, WV; one grandson, Gino Little of Weirton, WV; two sisters, Barbara (Duke) Snyder of Weirton, WV, Sandra “Cookie” (Jim) Murphy of Burgettstown, PA; a brother, Scott (Liz) Hendershot of Weirton, WV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chuckies hobbies include making homemade kahlua, gathering with friends and family around the pool, watching the Steelers play, and riding his Harley. Chuckie was generous, welcoming, and always a good time. He will be greatly missed by all. There will be no visitation. All services and inurnment were held at the convenience of the family.
