Linda Kay Hoff Obituary

Jamestown, ND-Funeral Service for Linda Kay Hoff, 60, of Jamestown and formerly of Eureka will be 11:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Carlsen Funeral Home in Eureka.

Burial will be in Eureka City Cemetery.

There will be visitation for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Linda died October 30, 2021, at her home. Linda Kay was born January 30, 1961, to Raymond and Erma (Nitschke) Hoff in Eureka, SD. She attended Eureka High School and Northern State College. After graduation, Linda spent the majority of her life in management and sales. She worked as a manager for Midcontinent in Aberdeen and then for the Sutherland Group in Fargo.

Linda was always an honor roll student. She received an attendance award in 1979. She also received an award in management for “Outstanding Customer Service” and attended Dale Carnegie and Academy for Supervisors. Linda enjoyed many things such as reading, music, cooking and especially homemade soups, gardening, and yardwork. She like to watch some occasional television, loved comedies, anything that made her laugh and as many of you know, absolutely loved football. She was a “Cheesehead” and loved Brett Favre. Her greatest love of all was animals of all kinds. She loved cows and especially dogs. She had two of her own, Maggie and Buddy, who have since passed away. They were the love of her life.

In Linda’s later years, she lived in Ellendale, ND and then Jamestown, ND. Due to a chronic illness, Linda was unable to work. Linda was not able to attend church regularly due to her illness, but she believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life in Heaven.

Grateful for having shared Linda’s life are her mother, Erma Hoff of Sioux Falls and brother, Perry (Terri Jo) Hoff of Sioux Falls.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Raymond on October 16, 2016.

The family prefers memorials be sent to Erma Hoff, 1305 East NorthStar Lane #107, Sioux Falls, SD 57108.

Carlsen Funeral Home of Eureka has been entrusted with arrangements.
