Delma Blaney Parnell, 95, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with Lord on October 30, 2021.
She was born December 10, 1925, in Mount Vernon, Arkansas, to Tom and Nona Adkisson Blaney.
Mrs. Parnell received a bachelor’s degree and had worked as a registered nurse at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she taught Ladies Sunday School and was a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Parnell, whom she loved with all her heart, and her parents.
Survivors include a son, Donald (Sandra) Parnell of Pine Bluff, a daughter, Nanci (John) Shelton of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Teresa Greene, Steven (Priscilla) Parnell, Brent Eubanks; great grandchildren, Brandon (Maebree) Greene, Jeremy, Ryan, Sadie, Emily, Jackson, Lilly; great-great-grandchildren, Maelei, Brynlea, Knox, Tate, and Steven James.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel.
Graveside service by Robinson and Fuller White Hall Chapel will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. Don Taylor officiating.
