Welsh McKellar, Isabella Smith … March 16, 1944 … October 11, 2010- It is with deepest regret the family announces the death of Isabella Smith Welsh McKellar of Cambridge Ontario and formerly of Paris Ontario, at St. Luke’s Place on Monday October 11, 2010, at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Robert McKellar (2003). Loving mother of Kim McKellar and step mother to Miki and Denise McKellar. Grandmother of Brandon and Derek Colombe, and step grandmother to Stephanie and Ethan McKellar. Sister of John and Christine Welsh of Oakville and sister in-law of John Kissack. Predeceased by sister Ena Kissack (2008), mother Isabella Welsh (2009) and father John Welsh. Isabella was involved with St. John’s Ambulance for a number of years, as well as a mid-wife in Newfoundland and Scotland. Friends and Family will be received at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. Cambridge, Ontario on Monday 2-4 & 7-9. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment to take place at Paris Cemetery at a later date where she will be reunited with her husband. Donations in Isabella’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
