Of Brookfield.  Found peace on Friday, October 29th, 2021 at the age of 86.  She was born December 26th, 1934 to Benedikt and Katarina Kisler in Vrbica, Yugoslavia (now Croatia).  She was a survivor of the ethnic German genocide in the former Yugoslavia, where she was forced from her home during World War II.  She and her family escaped to Austria.  She spent her formative years living in Linz, Austria.  In 1956, she and her family immigrated to the United States, settling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  That same year, she met Stefan Blum, Jr.  They would marry on July 4th, 1959.  They were blessed with two children Robert and Mary Ann. 

She was a long-time member of the United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee.  She and Stefan spent many Saturday nights at the Schwabenhof dancing the night away with their friends on table 23 and 24.  Anna loved cooking, baking, and gardening.  But more than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren.  She was always available to give a helping hand and a baby-sitter extraordinaire. 

Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Stefan Blum, Jr, mother of Robert (Jan) Blum, Mary Ann (Jim) MacGillis.  Proud Oma of Nikole (Adam) Lyons, Katie Blum, Jakob Blum, Max MacGillis and Olivia MacGillis along with four great-grandchildren – Domanick, Gabriel, Blake and Eden.  Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Theresia (Daniel) Milling and Maria Kisler along with nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her brother Andreas Kisler and sister Maria Kiefer. 

Visitation at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home on Friday, November 5th from 4:00 until 7:00.  Prayer vigil to be held at 6:00pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 6th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 12:30pm (12130 West Center Street, Wauwatosa). Please meet at the church.  Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
