Lynn Marie Stuckemeyer Silber Obituary

Lynn Marie Stuckemeyer Silber of Three Lakes, WI, passed away on October 28, 2021 at the Aspirus St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander with her family at her side. Lynn was born on September 6, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Lawrence and Lorraine Stuckemeyer. At an early age her parents moved the family to Eagle River where her father owned and operated Meyer Construction. She attended Eagle River Grade School and graduated from Eagle River High School in 1971. In the summer of 1972, she met her future husband, Mike Silber, at the “Mod.” Lynn married Mike on January 27, 1973 at our Savior Lutheran Church in Eagle River, WI. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Effingham, IL and lived there for 12 years. While there she worked as a bookkeeper for a restaurant chain and she had her first son, Mikey. Mike and Lynn moved back to Three Lakes 36 years ago where she had a second son, Tyler. She was then a stay at home mom for her two sons and she loved it. Lynn loved working on her flowers in the spring and summer and watching the deer, birds, squirrels and all of the other wildlife. She especially loved the summer of 2019 when she could watch a mother fox, who had a den under the cottage next door. She really enjoyed watching the eight fox kits as they grew and played near the den. Lynn was a great cook and enjoyed baking pies, cakes and making something special for her sons. Lynn was a loving wife and mother who completely adored her two sons. She loved all of her family an in-laws, especially her father in law: Adam Silber and a special uncle: Bernie. Lynn was preceded in death by her loving parents: Lawrence and Lorraine Stuckemeyer; her sister: Cindy Lohman; and her infant brother: Bobby. Lynn is survived by her husband of 48 years: Mike; her sons: Mikey and Tyler all of Three Lakes; and her granddaughters: Anya and Layla Silber of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by her brothers: Larry (Mickee) Stuckemeyer of Eagle River, WI, Jim (Vicki) Stuckemeyer of Effingham, IL, Bob (Karla) Stuckemeyer of Effingham, IL; sister: Cheri Stuckemeyer of Madison, WI and special nephews: Jake Stuckemeyer and Dayne Lohman. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday November 5, 2021 at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until the time of service. Services will be officiated by Chaplain John Uhlark of Spiritual Care Services Aspirus St. Mary’s Hospital. Burial to follow services at Three Lakes Cemetery. Lynn was a lover of all animals, both pets and wildlife, especially a Corgi named Yangus. The family wishes that memorials be made to the Oneida, Vilas or Forest Co. Animal Shelters in her name. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Aspirus St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander, especially the nurses of the ICU. Your professional knowledge, and most of all compassion, will be remembered in our hearts. We would also like to thank Chaplain John Uhlark for the compassion and spiritual blessings he brought to Lynn and into our lives. In Lynn’s memory, please love and be kind to those you love, for you never know when they will be taken from you.
