Wesley White, 77, of Kosciusko, MS passed away October 28, 2021 at St. Dominic’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services are Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Wake Forest United Pentecostal Church at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Wake Forest Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Wake Forest United Pentecostal Church. Rev. Greg Fortenberry and Rev. Stephen Rone will be officiating. He was a member of Wake Forest United Pentecostal Church in Thomastown where he served as a lay minister. He worked as a paver before surrendering to the ministry. He was also a retired insurance agent. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Rosemary Rutherford White of Kosciusko, MS; step-son, Roger Joe Edwards (Debbie) of Thomastown; step-daughter, Leticeia Manchetti (Danny) of Hurley, MS; six brothers, Steven White, Jerry White, James White, Roy White, Paul White, and David White; three sisters, Sharon Swort, Lois Dalton, and Evelyn Bratcher; four grandchildren, Jonathan Edwards, Thomas Edwards, Amber Carmeans, and Lauren Pace; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Ona White. Memorial may be made to Wake Forest United Pentecostal Church building fund or Tupelo Children’s Mansion.
