William "Bill" Arthur Loerch

<p>Shoshoni resident, William &ldquo;Bill&rdquo; Arthur Loerch, 72, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Hot Springs Health hospital in Thermopolis. Wyoming.</p> <p>Born January 19, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was one of three children of Russel and Janice (Requartte) Loerch.&nbsp; After high school and some college he lived in Denver, Colorado.&nbsp; In the early 70&rsquo;s, Bill moved to Story, Wyoming where he established &ldquo;Rainbow Paint&rdquo;. Following that business he became a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers in Story and then in Shoshoni where he moved in 2008.&nbsp; Bill retired in 2016. &nbsp;</p> <p>He was an avid hunter and fisherman.&nbsp; He enjoyed a good card game and participated in several demolitions derbys&nbsp;in Sheridan.</p> <p>Survivors include his sister, Suzanne Hurlock of Lincoln, Nebraska and son, Cory Loerch of Shoshoni, WY.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob.</p> <p>The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.</p> <p>Mortimore Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.&nbsp;&nbsp; Messages may be offered at www.mortfh.com.</p>

Shoshoni resident, William “Bill” Arthur Loerch, 72, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Hot Springs Health hospital in Thermopolis. Wyoming.

Born January 19, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was one of three children of Russel and Janice (Requartte) Loerch.  After high school and some college he lived in Denver, Colorado.  In the early 70’s, Bill moved to Story, Wyoming where he established “Rainbow Paint”. Following that business he became a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers in Story and then in Shoshoni where he moved in 2008.  Bill retired in 2016.  

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed a good card game and participated in several demolitions derbys in Sheridan.

Survivors include his sister, Suzanne Hurlock of Lincoln, Nebraska and son, Cory Loerch of Shoshoni, WY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
