<p>Larry Marion Lewis, born October 2nd 1959, went home to be with Jesus on October 28th 2021. He was born in Florence, CO; the oldest of seven children to Marion and Shirley Lewis. Larry lived in and loved Fremont county most of his life. He graduated from Canon City High School in 1977. He married Cindy Persinger, the love of his life, in August of 1978. In their 43 years of marriage, God blessed them with three children; Amanda, Andrew, and K&#39;Sandra. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, his parents, and all of his siblings.</p> <p>Larry&#39;s love for God was evident in his daily life and his love for others. He never knew a stranger, and everyone he met became a friend for life. He was a wonderful dad, and was the best example of what an honorable man should be. He was dedicated to his family, with every day of his life spent making sure their needs were met. Larry cared deeply for his friends, as well, taking time each day to check on them and help whenever he could. He will be missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life for brothers-in-law, Charles Persinger, Sr. and Larry Lewis, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the 4-Mile Community Club located on the corner of East Main and Steinmeier in Canon City.&nbsp; The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a pot luck meal to follow. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be spent celebrating their lives by dancing, playing cards, and playing games that Charlie and Larry loved to play with their kids and grandkids.&nbsp; Bring your fond memories and funny stories to help us celebrate our beloved family members.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
