Slater A. Miller

<p>Slater Albert Miller died suddenly on October 25, 2021 at his home in Minneapolis, leaving behind many stunned and grieving friends and family members.&nbsp;</p> <p>Slater was born on June 29 1988 to Edward and Jacqueline Miller in Iowa City, Iowa.&nbsp; He moved with his family to Eden Prairie, MN when he was 4 years old and graduated from Eden Prairie Highschool in 2006.&nbsp; Slater received a diploma of Machine Tool Technology from Minneapolis Community and Technical College in 2011.&nbsp; He also attended the University of Minnesota, College of Mechanical Engineering until forced to withdraw due to the pandemic.&nbsp; Slater worked as a Machinist at Super Radiator Coils, Ltd. in Chaska, MN.&nbsp; He was a passionate advocate for social justice, an artist, practitioner of Capoeira, avid video gamer, and an all-around good person and good friend.&nbsp; Slater is survived by his parents, Ed and Jackie Miller of Seattle, Washington; his sister Cory Stehpenson and her family of Moretown, VT and his brother, Jremiah Miller and his family of Seattle, WA, plus a large extended family in New Jersey and elsewhere, including his much loved Aunt Susan of Ashburn, Virginia.&nbsp; Slater also leaves behind many lifelong friends in the Minneapolis area.&nbsp; Pickles, the cat, Slater&#39;s beloved pet will be moving to Seattle.&nbsp;</p> <p>A memorial service will be held at a later date.</p>
