Charley Ray Day, Sr. entered this life on March 25, 1930 in Nancy, Texas. He departed this world to be with the LORD on January 29, 2017 at the age of 86 in La Porte, Texas.
He is survived by his precious wife of 65 years, Sally Marie Day, his 4 sons, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was an Air Force veteran, worked as a truck driver, shipyard worker, in the chemical industry and as a bi-vocational minister of music for many years. In 1982, he retired from ARCO Chemicals as an Operational Superintendent and surrendered his life to full time Christian service. Over his many years he touched countless lives through evangelism, music, teaching, preaching and living a spirit-filled life.
