<p>Cathleen Anne Nesbitt Rensing, 65 of Burlington passed away on October 26, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. <br /> <br /> Cathleen was born in Bronx, NY on December 30, 1955 a daughter of the late Thomas Nesbitt and Eileen McCoy Rindos. She worked as an LPN for a little while before starting a family and later returned to a career in real estate as a Realtor. Cathy, as she was better known, was first and foremost a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She adored being a grandmother more than any other title she ever held and will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her, but most of all by her loving husband, children, children in-law, and grandchildren. She was an amazing mother who gave of herself at a moments notice, always saw the glass as half-full, and never let anything stand in her way. Cathy exemplified kindness, strength, and determination to all who knew her, overcoming many health challenges over the years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Mangels (Chris). </p> <p>Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Robert Rensing; her daughter, Jennifer Rensing Tipton (Dean); two sons, Robert Rensing, Jr. (Sharon) and Michael Rensing; two grandchildren, Caitlin Rensing and Megan Rensing; a brother, Thomas Nesbitt (Pat) and her sister, Helene Brue (Geoffrey), and many nieces, nephews, and friends.<br /> <br /> A Celebration of Cathleen's life will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel with Rev. Jason Goins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. You may share an online condolence by visiting www.omegafsc.com.
