Gordon J Eberhardt, 84, of Town of Grant WI passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 26, 2021. 
A visitation is scheduled on Sunday October 31, 2021 from 5 - 8 pm at Herman-Taylor Funeral home Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday November 1, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Kellner.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 9 am until the time of the service on Monday.  Burial will be at a later date.  
Gordy was born on January 20, 1937 to John and Leona Eberhardt in Milwaukee WI.  They moved to the farm  in the town of Grant in 1946.  After graduating from high school in 1954, he worked for Jevnick Trucking where he was known as one of  the "Jevnick Juveniles".   Drafted in 1960 he served in Germany during the Berlin Crisis.  Gordy married Arlene Olson on October 29, 1969 in Wisconsin Rapids.  She passed away October 28, 2009.  After serving in the Army he returned to Jevnick trucking later known as Safeway Bus Transit where he worked until his retirement in 2006. 
Gordy enjoyed fishing with Arlene, family and friends at their cabin on Mille Lacs Lake.  He was a life long farmer and loved restoring tractors and polishing everything in sight. 
Gordy is survived by his daughter Charlotte (Paul) Goldberg, son Dan (Patti) Olson, daughter Jodi (Anthony) Lomma and son Todd Eberhardt, sisters Sue Alft (Hank Raatz) and Linda (Craig) Schlottman, sister in law Gayle Eberhardt, brother in law Dave (Gloria) Leach, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.  
He was predeceased by his parents, wife Arlene, brother Donald Eberhardt,  brother in law Francis Alft, sister in law Marlene Hilger and brother in law Jim Hilger.
