<p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">COVENTRY- Ann Equitani, 95, of Coventry, former longtime resident of Brooklyn, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of her family at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the dear wife of the late. Alfred Equitani.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Born on February 1, 1926, in the Bronx, she was one of twelve children born to the late Rosario and Vincenza (Guido) Cirillio.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">For many years, Ann was a Homemaker, where she took great pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming home for her two children and husband. She also spent time working at the Bursar&rsquo;s Office at Brooklyn Law School, where she made a great impact by assisting students in receiving financial aid and grant funds to assist in obtaining their law degree.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">In her spare time, Ann loved cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. She was a great cook, especially with Italian dishes such as chicken cacciatore, biscottis, and zeppoles. Ann also enjoyed tending to her garden, growing vegetables and flowers. She was also an avid listener of Frank Sinatra and she had the opportunity to see him perform live in person. Ann liked to spend time reading with her favorite authors being Stephen King and James patterson. Above all, Ann enjoyed the time spent and memories made with her family, especially her grandchildren.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Ann is survived by her cherished and proud son: John Equitani and his wife Peggy; and her grandchildren: Vanessa Equitani, John Equitani, and Christine Equitani; and also many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">In addition to her husband, Ann is predeceased by her daughter: Susan Rodemeyer.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Ann&rsquo;s funeral services and burial will be held privately.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
