<p><br /> Nuno C. Medeiros, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Tuesday October 26th. He was the devoted husband of Denise (Servant) Medeiros of 48 years, and son of the late Virgilio and Ilda (Pimental) Medeiros. Nuno worked in construction for many years, he enjoyed watching Westerns, singing karaoke, going to the beach spending time outside by the fire enjoying a cold brew and Portuguese cheese sandwich. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.<br /> In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Michael Medeiros (wife Sarah), and Aimee Vazquez (husband Willie), sister: Filomena McCann, sister in law Zelia Medeiros, grandchildren Emma, Will and Violet Vazquez and Charlotte Medeiros, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joseph, Virgilio Jr., and Adelino Medeiros.<br /> Calling hours for Nuno will be held on Monday November 1st, from 4-7 pm in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday November 2nd, at 9 AM from the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Louis de France Church, 56 Buffington St. Swansea.
