George Ralph Harper 80 of Eatonton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 as the result of a boating accident. He was born in Eatonton on October 27, 1941 to the late William Clark Harper Sr. and Lucille Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother William “Bill” Clark Harper Jr., and grandson Logan Harper. Ralph as he was known to everyone who knew him enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and gardening. In his spare time he handmade wood handled knives. And of course he enjoyed spending time with his loving family. A visitation will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church on Monday November 1, 2021 from 1 to 3 PM followed by a service at 3 PM, burial will be at Eatonton Memorial Park after the service. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Joyce Harper, sons John Harper and Richard Harper (Tiffany), brother Jesse Raymond Harper (Wanda), sister Sue Presley (Cleven) Grandchildren Jessica, Abbigail, Lauren, Cole, Brooke, Kara, Dylan and Christian Harper.
