Constance Virginia Roberts Obituary

Constance Virginia Tyler Roberts was born on May 27, 1935. She departed this life on October 26, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Connie, as she was affectionately known, was loved by her family. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their visits made her smile from ear to ear. Connie was well-known for her delicious cooking. Her famous homemade yeast rolls and cinnamon buns were enjoyed by family and friends. Connie worked for over forty years in the Accomack County Public School system as a dietary aide. She was truly dedicated to the staff and students in the schools she served. Even after her retirement, they continued to call on her and she would always go. She loved them and they loved her. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Roberts; two sons, Claude Michael and Roosevelt Tyler; two daughters, Charlotte Anderson and Rochelle Bailey; and two grandsons, Tamian Tyler and Tei Hawthorne. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Kenneth (Penny) Tyler of Parksley, VA; four daughters, Ann Tyler of Newark, NJ, Debbie Duffy of Nassawadox, VA, Tammi (Keith) Duffy of Fayetteville, NC, and Latatia Rowley of Onancock, VA; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; thirty-one great, great-grandchildren; four great, great, great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Connie was truly loved and appreciated by many and she will be missed by all. She lived a great life and we thank God for all of the days we shared with her. Lovingly submitted, The Family
