Albert Ploor age 72 of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.  He was born on May 29, 1949 to the late Albert J. and Mable (Rudiger) Ploor in Janesville. After graduating high school, Burt enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for two years. Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Jacquelyn Jaeger and they enjoyed 49 years together. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, NASCAR and the Packers. Burt liked spending his time at the rifle and archery range.

Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn, daughters; Tammie (Jason) Schumacher and Wendy (Jonathan) Lear, grandchildren; Jenna, Alyssa, Lia, Emily and Jonathan. Burt is further survived by his sister, Jan (Doug) Humphreys as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents and his sisters; Barbara (Jerry) Wilbur and Mary Ann (Richard) Howe.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers or other tokens of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.

The family wishes to thank all the paramedics who worked so hard to save Albert as well as the staff, Doctors and Nurses and Chaplain at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center Appleton for their care of Burt and family.
