Patsy A. Scott

Patsy A. Scott 73, of Martinsville, passed away on October 26, 2021 at St Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Patsy was born on May 15, 1948 in Bedford, IN to the late Louise (Pruitt) and Roy King. Patsy grew up in Mitchell and was a graduate of Mitchell High School. She married the love of her life, Raymond “Tom” Scott on February 17, 1967, and were married for 55 years. Patsy worked for Walmart in Franklin as a cashier and food service for 20 years, until her health would no longer allow. She was described as a strong, faithful, forgiving lady who loved her family. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoyed crafts, painting, coloring, and making tables and refinishing chairs. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends. She was a member of the Bluff Creek Christian Church, St. Anastasia Rebekah Lodge #197 and IOOF Germania Lodge #129. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roger King. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond “Tom” Scott; sons Bryan E. Scott, Bradley E. Scott, Brent E. Scott, Brock E. Scott; brother James Edward King; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Friends and family will gather on Monday, November 1st from 4 to 8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10am on Tuesday, November 2nd in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in IOOF Cemetery, Waverly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in Patsy’s memory to help offset her unexpected funeral expenses.
