<p><strong>Frances &quot;Francy&quot; Ann Callahan, age 71, previously of Amarillo and Plainview, TX passed away October 25, 2021 in Farmersville, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.</strong></p> <p><strong>Frances was a beloved wife to Joe Callahan for 51 years and was the best mother for which anyone could ever ask. She prided herself on guiding and instilling the best qualities in her children by leading many of their childhood endeavors including Girl Scouts, 4-H and countless projects. There was not a sporting event, classroom activity or special moment that she ever missed, a standard that she upheld when her grandchildren were born.</strong></p> <p><strong>Upon their retirement, Frances and Joe owned the Flower Stop as&nbsp;a hobby, where her attention to detail was always on display, as they worked side by side. She enjoyed traveling to New Mexico and collecting Native American decor and artifacts.</strong></p> <p><strong>Frances is preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents Glenn and Ann Reeves and her brother Don Reeves.</strong></p> <p><strong>She is survived by her daughter Salem Goodman and partner Marc Woods; her son Joseph Callahan and wife Jennifer; her sister Becky Cole and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Judy Reeves; and numerous nieces and nephews. Survivors also include her favorite people of all, her grandchildren Caigon and Cheslee Cook and Briggs Callahan.</strong></p> <p><strong>Graveside services will be held for the family on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.</strong></p> <p><strong>The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charitable organization in Frances&#39; name.</strong></p>

Frances was a beloved wife to Joe Callahan for 51 years and was the best mother for which anyone could ever ask.
