Daniel was born on May 30th, 1953 in Durand to the late Robert and Barbara (Rosser) Bowers. Daniel attended Durand High school and worked at General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 2009. He had many interests in which he excelled, such as working on cars, building furniture and doing whatever else Carolyn told him to do. He was in his element when he was in his wood shop with his beloved dogs, Foxy and Onyx. We'll never forget how much he loved his dune buggies, Harley rides and camping trips with his kids. Dan and Carolyn enjoyed traveling and made plans to visit all 50 states. They made it to 48 of them. In general Dan enjoyed adventures of all kinds and had a solid reputation as quite the daredevil. We are all so very blessed that Dan had a huge impact on many lives. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Carolyn. His daughters Jenny (Karl) Bigelow, Kelli (Kelly) Martin of Owosso. His son Jeremiah (Laura) of Parma, Ohio. Four step daughters Toni, Paula, Dana, Anika, 16 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.
