Charles "Chuck" E. Ewing passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2021 at Holy Trinity Church. A visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. In remembrance of Chuck's love of golf, the family asks that everyone wear their golf attire to the services. Chuck is survived by his children, Vicki Ewing (Charlie Haynes) of Sachse, TX; Patrick Ewing of Humboldt; Mark Ewing (Renae Knobloch) of Brandon, SD; Rebecca (Mitch) Naeve of Humboldt; 6 grandchildren, Adam Ewing, Mckayla Schievelbein, and Eric Ewing; Miranda Weber and Blake Naeve; Payton Ewing; four great grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Gobeli of Fort Dodge, Mary Fitzgerald of Otho, Howard Ewing, Ralph Ewing both of Fort Dodge, and Gary Ewing of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Cecelia (Conley) Ewing; wife Joan; siblings Rosemary Newby, Robert Ewing, Ann Snyder, and Charlotte Leiss. Charles Everett Ewing was born December 20, 1934 in Duncombe. He attended school in Lehigh. On April 23, 1954, he was united in marriage to Joan Carpenter and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Chuck worked for Hormel's until his retirement in 1983. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
